The first thing that I’d like to say about this movie is
that it's different. This movie gets your attention like when you see a dog
doing a back flip. Road to Perdition
is in fact a movie of film noir. Film noir movies are very dark and just when
you think something good is about to happen or if you think the movie will end
in a happy your wrong. In the last scene of the movie they show the little
boy Michael running around having fun on the beach with his dog. Mike the boy’s
father, was standing in the big picture window looking out to him and then
"BANG" just like that he gets shot in the back twice by McGuire. You
would think after mike had just taken care of all the loose end people and went
to a house near the beach and everything would be okay but that’s not the case.
The movie had to end with mike dying and little Michael having no dad. Film
noir movies also involve a lot of smoking. In Road to Perdition they are always smoking cigars; they smoke them
like a steam engine gone crazy. Location is a key part in the movie. Whenever
they killed someone it would always be in a room or at night in an alley. One
thing that was happening over and over in this movie is the rain. Every time it
would rain you knew that something bad was going to happen. Someone would get
killed or something would happen where Mike and Michael would have to run for
their lives. In these film noir movies the attire they wear is kind of funny, these
gangsters are always wearing a fedora, long coat, and a nice suit that is black
and they carry a gun in the waste or jacket pocket. The women always wore a hat
and a dress. Mikes love for his son is really kind of incredible. He does not
want his son to become what he is and kill people. Mike did whatever he could
to make sure he didn’t end up like that. Even when mike got shot Michael came
in and aimed a gun at McGuire but he couldn’t pull the trigger. In that moment
when McGuire came closer mike took his gun and shot him. He has succeeded
and his boy never even touched a gun again. These are a few good reasons on why
this film is a film of noir. This movie is by far the greatest movie of film
noir.

Master of Bowser the first
The movie Mr. Deeds goes to town is told in a way that is sort
of boring but still intrigue's you to watch it. It is not very comical like Mr.
Deeds. It starts out having Mr. Deeds playing the tuba which helps him
think. Mr. Deeds inherits 20 million dollars because his uncle had died by
crashing down a cliff with his car. Now Mr. Deeds has to go to New York to
do paper work. I think Mr. Deeds gets a little excited because he gets to see
new stuff. Here comes the turning point in this movie, it involves a little
lady that is to nosy and will do anything for a good story. Mary is the news
reporter that is supposed to get info on Mr. Deeds. They end up spending lots
of time together and what’s funny is that Mary makes a story for the paper on
how he chased a fire truck and stuff. At the end of the movie all these rich
people are going crazy about the way Mr. Deeds has acted and they take him to
court. Mr. Deeds does not represent himself with a lawyer only himself. The
guys that were suing him brought people from his home town. They think he is
insane and should not be in control of 20 million dollars. He wins this court
hearing and gets off and he gives away his money to farmers or to people who
really need it the most.
Adam Sandler’s version is the best I have to say. It was very comical but still had almost the same story as Mr. Deeds goes to town. In Mr. Deeds his uncle Blake died trying to climb Mount Everest. Mr. Deeds comes from Mandrake falls and has to go to New York and collect his 40 billion dollars that he is inheriting. He now owns the company and the New York Jets NFL team. He meets a girl that is a reporter but acts interested in him to get front page stories about him. Her name is Pam Dawson and she is from Winchestertonville, Iowa. Mr. Deeds has a little too much fun and gets drunk and then beats up people and saves a lady and her cats from a fire and Babe the news reporter someone manages to make him seem like a horrible person in those articles. Mr. Deeds in the end gets played out of his fortune and Cedar is selling it to make quick money, but Pam Dawson dies research and finds out that Mr. Deed’s servant that likes feet actually owns Blake and Cedar gets fired and thrown out. Mr. Deeds also gets a million dollars and buys everyone in mandrake falls new corvettes.
Between the two movies there uncles die and they both receive fortunes. They both get played by reporters in the first half of the movie but then they realize they are good men. In the end the money that they receive still goes to the people that really need it which really means something. It’s nice to know that there are still good people that will forget what they need and give things to helps others out in life. I liked Adam Sandler’s version more.

RTM #1
Back to the future starts out in the year 1985. The main
character is Marty McFly. The way they dress in 85 is the total opposite from
when he goes back in time to 1955. Marty's mom is a drunk and she's heavy set.
The dad is a geeky, antisocial guy that always gets bullied by Biff. Biff is
the over grown- pathetic- loser- jock that can't help his own self. Marty's
house is kind of old and not the typical nice clean house with expensive stuff.
So you can say that they didn't have that much money. Marty has a date with
Jennifer but when he gets home after school the day before his date the car was
pulling in the drive all smashed up and totaled. Since Biff thinks he's all
that, Marty's dad gave in and let him drive it and then he crashed it and then
complains about how his suite needs fixed. Marty's brother is currently working
fast food. When Marty goes back to the year 1955 things get pretty hectic.
First off he finds his dad and his dad leaves the diner in a rush. Later on he
finds him and he falls out of the tree and Marty saves his dad from getting hit
but at that moment he doesn’t realize he just screwed up the future. From Marty’s
mom and dad not knowing each other from getting hit instead Marty’s the one who
his young mother likes. Marty now has a new nickname "Calvin Kline”. On
his journey in the future Marty basically invents the skateboard, finds doc, and
manages to cover biff and his friends with manure. Because of his parents not
meeting the picture Marty has, they are starting to fade away and soon going to
be banished. Long story short Marty’s in trouble and gets his dad to take his
mom to the dance so they can kiss and he could be alive. At this dance Marty
takes place in guitar and starts playing modern music and everybody is starting
to like it and then finally his parents kiss and he can now live to see another
day. When he goes back to 1985 things are pretty weird. They are living in a
nice big house with expensive stuff all around, his brother is working at a
bank. The best part is that the dad has “The big bad Biff" washing and
waxing the cars. When Marty goes outside he sees his truck he wanted. It was a Nissan
4x4. You could say he's living the life now.
